IBME MONTHLY SEMINAR – Wednesday May 15th, 5pm in the Sir Ambrose Fleming Lecture Theatre (G06) in the Roberts Building,    


Dr Rowland Illing is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist, Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer in the Division of Surgery and Interventional Science at UCL and Director of the Interventional Oncology Service at University College. His research interest is image-guided tumour therapy and the evaluation of new minimally invasive technology.

Rowland’s talk is titled “The UCL Partners Interventional Oncology Service as a test bed for new technology

Rowland will discuss the extent of knowledge and know-how, and suggest how those outside his research area might contribute or gain from a closer association. The lecture will be followed by drinks and an opportunity to network.



Directions: the Ambrose Fleming Lecture Theatre (G06) is located on the ground floor of the Roberts Building. On entering the building from the main entrance (red box on map), go straight ahead into the main foyer. Walk past the stairs on your right and head towards the far right corner of the foyer. The Sir Ambrose Fleming Lecture Theatre should now be straight ahead. Should you have any problems finding the lecture theatre, there is usually security at the front desk by the main entrance
