Light and time: a new look on the eye: Prof. Russell Foster

Prof. Fosters group made an amazing discovery about the circuitry of the retina. They discovered a new class of photosensitive receptor called melanopsin. Electrical signals from these cells control our body clock. Prof. Foster is one of the UKs best known neuroscientists. He was recently on BBC Radio 4 on “The Life Scientific”
